Som ni kanske läst går hela vinsten jag gör på försäljning av mina böcker under 2026 till stöd för Ukraina. Men ur erfarenhet vet jag att mina böcker inte säljer bra, så en ny källa för att generera pengar till Ukraina behövs. Den tror jag att jag nu har hittat!

Ukraine – Campaign 2026
In my previous post, I mentioned there was a campaign coming up. Y’all probably spent the day wondering what that campaign might entail. Well, here you go:
The profits of all my books sold in 2026 will be donated in support of Ukraine.
There you have it! Now go buy them books! Continue reading →
Ukraine – Book sales
The sales of my book ‘Ukraine Infrastructure victory‘ were not great, but I did manage to sell and subsequently donate an amount north of €200. This amount was transferred to the Help99 organisation, which provides vehicles to the Ukrainian army, but also supplies relief goods to the Ukrainian civilians. Continue reading →
Ukraine – A short history
Perhaps, as I did, you wonder about the modern history of neighbors Ukraine and Russia, like:
- How did Ukraine become a sovereign country after the USSR fell?
- What agreements for the sovereignty of Ukraine were signed over the years?
- How did these agreements work out?
- Why can’t Ukraine and Russia just trust each other and sign a peace treaty?
I’ve tried to summarize all agreements on peace and sovereignty that Ukraine has been involved in with Russia since the fall of the USSR…
Putin’s Christmas wishlist – A reaction
I would like to contribute to Paul’s recent essay by trying to put institutions and persons into a different perspective.
If you find the tone somewhat cynical, then you may be right.
It’s about politics after all. Continue reading →
Putin’s Christmas wishlist
Two days ago, from the time I write this, a peace plan for Ukraine was leaked, most likely from the White House or from the Pentagon. It didn’t reveal much detail, but from any of those sources, anything could be expected. Two days in and the contents all over the news, I can confirm that it must look exactly like the put’n wishlist for Christmas presents. And there’s nothing in it for Ukraine. Continue reading →
Ukraine – Book sales donated
Summary:
Today, the money collected from the book sales for my book ‘Ukraine – Infrastructure victory’ was transferred to the organization Help99. Exactly 20 books exchanged hands; some were sold, others donated. For the donated books, I footed the money it would have made in sales. Two buyers chose to pay more for the book than I was asking; I thanked them and added the full donation to the account. Those who bought a copy off me: thank you!
Two copies landed in different libraries, one in a private community library in Spain, the other in the communal library in Knivsta, Sweden, where we live. Of course, for these books I also footed the assumed sales profit.
Some books have been promised as a donation but have not yet been delivered. I preemptively added the assumed profit to the list. Continue reading →
New book – Ukraine (all sales profit will be donated to Ukraine)
Again, a new book is close to publishing published and available for sale:
Ukraine – Infrastructure victory
The total profits of this book go to help99.co, an Estonian nonprofit that collects funds to help Ukraine. The help is not only Ukraine’s citizens with everything from medicines and fully equipped ambulances to solar panels and generators. But also for the front lines eg. by supplying ambulances that can work in combat circumstances.
So, buy the book and you contribute to the freedom of Ukraine, it’s as simple as that. And as an added bonus, you get to keep the book! Continue reading →
tɛɹəɹɪst
Say what…?
That spells terrorist, or tɛɹəɹɪst if you want to know its correct English pronunciation. The word is on the lips of everyone in presidential office, in each government, on police forces and in military all over the globe. It is used by democracies, dictatorships, military juntas, and autocracies the like. Anyone my age may remember that such was not the case for thirty or forty years ago. What happened? ‘Referendum’ in Ukraine
As no one can possibly have missed, russia is in the process of organizing a referendum. The fact that they organized it in another country makes it more unique. The fact that the subject is whether the folks voting in the referendum want to join the russian federation makes it even more unique. Note that my use of the word ‘unique’ is not to be interpreted in a positive manner. Continue reading →
Educate russian tourists?
Since the unprovoked invasion of and war from russia* against Ukraine, relations between the EU and russian federation have been at a historic low, at least since the cold war ended about thirty years ago. Many rich russian folks, certainly those aiding and supporting the putin** regime, have found travel restrictions to the EU and US. Continue reading →
Sovjet V2.0
Impossible to ignore today (feb 2022) is the invasion of russian troops into the sovereign state of Ukraine. Note the intentional spelling of russia without a capital first letter, as of now russia does not deserve that capital letter. ‘Troops’ in this sentence are regular army, navy, and airforce.
