The Art of War – A brief introduction into voting

Fair warning: I ‘wrote‘ a NOTEBOOK!

For a notebook, I chose the most intimidating title:

The Art of War
An introduction into voting

To keep things simple, it is after all a notebook; the book consists of only three chapters:

  • How to start a war
  • How to end a war, or avoid being attacked
  • How to avoid coming close to war

In short:

I came to write this book as I read a lot of online comments about folks:

  • not knowing anything about what is happening outside of their own country
  • feeling their administration is doing things they did not say they would
  • knowing the administration is not doing the things they said they would

The book is aimed at folks who fit any of the three statements above. Obviously, as you’re reading this page now, you’re not one of these folks. But perhaps you know somebody who qualifies.

Is this aimed at US voters? Indeed, it is firsthand! Primarily to those who voted red, always have, and always will, with the reason: because…

But we have such folks in the EU countries as well, and their voices are getting louder. The political climate has made a turn to the right in the last ten to fifteen years, and – in my view – the reason is that voters are ill-informed. It is important to remember that a democratic environment cannot allow the election of representatives who aim to abolish that very democracy, using the system itself to self-destruct.

Summary:

What can I say? It’s a notebook. It’s got three chapters, each covering one to two pages of text. And blank pages, lots of blank pages, fifteen for each chapter to be exact. To make notes, it’s a notebook, remember?

So for the reader, there are no hours or reading about interesting theories, no evenings enjoying a well-told story, no exciting plots to figure out. You read the text, as limited as it is. Then apply it in practice. All the time with the upcoming elections in mind.

The cover:

Nederlandse lezers, let op:

Vanwege het internationale character van de verrechtsing, en de groei van extreem rechtse partijen binnen Nederland, komt er ook een Nederlandse versie van dit boek. Hierover binnenkort meer.
